NISHU ACHARYA - CHIEF INSPIRATION OFFICER

Nishu launched her career with Gilman Hill Asset Management Firm, serving clients with valuable investment strategies and in-depth analyses of both current and potential holdings to ensure the best possible returns. Currently, she is working as an Associate at Enfusion System in New York City.

An advocate of women empowerment and children education, Nishu believes in giving back to those who have not had the same opportunities she had growing up in Nepal. Outside of work, Nishu invests her time supporting United Women in Business (UWIB), a non-profit organization that is devoted to the professional and personal development for women across all industries. She also serves as Vice-President of Finance for the organization’s National Board.

Between juggling an engaging career and socially responsible undertakings, Nishu capitalizes on every minute of sleep she can gather so that she is always ready, set and go.

Nishu graduated with a degree in BA in Finance (2014), and an MSc in Finance & Investment Management (2016).

NISHCHAL BANSKOTA - CHIEF DREAMS OFFICER

Nishchal is the founder of Nepal Tea, a social enterprise which directly brings certified organic teas from Nepal to the American market and bridges the ever-widening gap between farmers and consumers. After graduation, he moved to his homeland, Nepal. Nishchal has ventured into opening the very first Tea Bar in Nepal with a vision to educate people more on tea and his unique business model.

As a promoter of UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, Nishchal stepped into tea business tempted towards the prospect of providing education to the underprivileged farmers’ children. He believes that tea not only serves as a product to uplift farmers’ living standards but also provides the children with an access to education and a step out of the vicious cycle of poverty.

When not working for Nepal Tea, Nishchal is usually immersed in the global stock markets or reading fiction – always with a cup of tea.

Nishchal graduated with a degree in BSc in Business Administration (2015).

PRAJJWOL GAUTAM - CHIEF POTENTIAL OFFICER

Prajjwol works out of his home office in San Francisco for the Confluence Team at Atlassian. He is a Software Engineer by profession, and previously, he has worked at Indicative and Mist Systems.

As an intern at OLE Nepal, Prajjwol witnessed the transformative potential of technology in education firsthand and had been on the lookout for opportunities to explore it more. He believes that education is a great societal leveler, and technology helps individuals further realize their true potential. With Nepal Tea Foundation, Prajjwol intends to provide the same access to opportunities he had growing up to Nepal's less fortunate.

An avid AR and VR enthusiast, Prajjwol spends his free time building AR experiences. When not in front of his computer, Prajjwol likes to go for long walks and take pictures of sunsets. He also reads a lot and is really into British TV panel shows.

Prajjwol graduated with a degree in BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics (2015).

SHRISTI MISHRA- CHIEF IMPACT OFFICER

Shristi is a data enthusiast passionate about leveraging data to impact lives through education. She works as a Management Analyst at the Office of the State Superintendent of Education, the state education agency for D.C., where she helps inform data-driven education policies at the state level. Before that, she worked on various international development projects with the World Bank, World Learning, and USAID to evaluate the impact of education programs. She was also a middle-school teacher in Nepal for three years.

Growing up listening to her father’s struggles that he faced due to lack of education, Shristi decided at a young age that she would dedicate her career to improving the access to quality education for low-income children. She envisions a world where education inspires great positive change in communities and is accessible to every child irrespective of where they come from. She is an alumnus of the Global Shapers Kathmandu Hub, where she led and managed numerous education projects.

When she is not coding and crunching student data, you will find her managing her family pet business - Yak9 Chews, watching old movies with her family, or pinning DIY home decor ideas on Pinterest. She likes to keep things minimal, clean, and organized and values kindness, compassion, and empathy.

Shristi graduated with a Master's degree in International Educational Development in 2019 as a Fulbright Scholar and a Bachelors in Business Administration in 2015.

SUJAN SHRESTHA - CHIEF OPPORTUNITY OFFICER

Sujan started his career at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York City as a Corporate Analyst focusing on regulatory and compliance matters for the wholesale business. A couple of years later, he transitioned into Investment Banking Analyst - delivering creative solutions for M&A, equity and debt capital related deals for JPMorgan’s multinational Real Estate, Gaming and Lodging clients.

Taking inspiration from his great grandfather Shukra Raj Shastri - a renowned Nepali martyr and an educator, Sujan believes in inclusive and accessible education for all. Sujan has led social impact projects to rural parts of Nepal, creating impact with education as a cornerstone.

Sujan is always up for a ride – particularly by road. He has completed road-trips from Maine to Florida in one week; through Denali National Park from Anchorage to Fairbanks, Alaska; and across numerous streets of Ecuador and Peru.

Sujan graduated with a degree in BSc in Business Administration (2015).
